Ever been to the Happy Ending Lounge in New York? It's a rather unique concept. They took an erotic massage parlor on Broome Street, a classic 80's AMP, and transformed it into a multi-floor lounge and bar. The original tiled shower rooms have been converted into party booths. The Asian bath accessories (acid-etched mirrors, dressing platform) have been kept, so if you know what a real asian massage parlor is, you will appreciate how this was a busy place one day in the past.
Personally I don't find it very attractive - the idea of sitting around and relaxing in a space that for years was a brothel. I guess some call it chic ; probably the same people who like to go slumming on Sunday afternoons and gawk at the poor people.
