These are two of my favorite wacky massage parlor terms used by hobbyists when reviewing massage parlors on the Internet. The first time I heard them I nearly died from laughing so hard.
To understand "Dine at the Y" or DATY without me getting too graphic, you will need a bit of imagination. Consider how a woman standing, legs slightly apart, hands at her side, actually forms an inverted "Y". Now imaging a male client with his mouth at the crotch of the Y. Yup, that's what it means to "dine at the Y"!
We have since seen and heard dozens of variants cleverly used in conversation. A business man's lunch hour might be spent "at the Y". Some guy may report having "had lunch at the Y". Someone may be looking to "spend some time at the Y". And of course, there are all sorts of variants such as "munching at the Y", "snacking at the Y", "wandering about the Y", and even "I wish I could live at the Y".
As I said, I nearly dies of laughter when I first heard this!
